Everyone Wins Except ONE, and COSCO as U.S. Container Volumes Surge

The container-lines running U.S.-inbound routes saw a 7.6% surge in volumes in September. That was slightly faster than the prior three months’ 7.3% and was helped by a pre-tariff rush in volumes from China. Among the top five container lines the best performers were CMA-CGM (12.5% higher than a year earlier) and the 2M Alliance of Maersk and MSC (by up 11.1%).
