Maersk has signed a three year deal to provide biofuel powered cold chain logistics to pharmaceutical firm Novo Nordisk. The container line won’t be an exclusive supplier of logistics services to Novo Nordisk, with 60.1% of U.S. seaborne imports linked to Novo in the 12 months to Nov. 30 having been handled by DP-DHL. Growth in shipments of 18.4% year over year in the three months to Nov. 30 has mostly been handled by Expeditors International.
