Container-lines operating on U.S.-inbound routes appear to be having a strong end to the year, after volumes expanded by 8% on a year earlier in November. Not all have done well though with Maersk experiencing a 1% drop and MSC growth of just 3%. They’ve lost out to CMA-CGM in particularly which has surged by 36%. That’s been due in part to a step-up in its China-inbound volumes after completing the integration of Neptune Orient.
