The 18th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, due to be hosted by President Xi of China from June 9, will focus largely on security issues. However talks between President Xi and Prime Minister Modi of India and President Putin of Russia may focus on trade given the two accounted for 45% and 29% of Chinese exports to the SCO group in the 12 months to April 30.
