The U.S. government has granted another round of tariff leniency for importers facing duties on shipments from China. The products, covered by the “list 4A” duties of 7.5% imposed as part of the trade war, include imports of medical wristbands and tablet crushers where tariffs have been cut to mitigate the costs of dealing with COVID-19. Shipments of those products from China fell by 20.5% and 14.6% year over year in the Q1’20.
