The U.S. ITC has recommended applying restrictions to imports of solar power equipment. The four commissioners made three separate recommendations including tariffs of up to 35% and quotas. President Trump will formally receive the recommendations on November 13, and has until January 12 to enact them. The tariffs are lower than expected – U.S. manufacturer First Solar saw a 9% drop in its stock price.
