U.S. Shines a Light in Dark Solar Power Investment World

Global investment in renewables fell 43% in the third quarter on a year earlier according to BNEF. Yet, Panjiva data shows U.S. imports of renewable energy equipment remain robust ahead of the presidential elections. While imports of wind energy equipment fell 26% in the third quarter, they recovered 5% in September on a year earlier.
