The Chairman of Fast Retailing, owner of the Uniqlo brand, has said he will withdraw from the U.S. if a border-adjustable tax is introduced by the Trump administration. Tadashi-san cites higher costs of U.S. manufacturing making it difficult to make products that are “beneficial to consumers”.
