The U.S. ITC has received a petition to investigate Chinese exports of small diameter steel wheels on anti-dumping grounds. That comes as an review of larger wheels has been delayed. The petition is the first since June 20 and may be the result of increased clarity on the Trump administration’s targets for additional duties. Steel wheels will likely be a part of the section 232 automotive review as well as being included in the $200 billion of products targeted for section 301 duties later this year.
