Yang Ming will launch a Vietnam-China “express” container-line service (CVX) which will complete two loops every 28 days with a total 4,000 TEU of capacity. The route covers three Chinese provinces and one Vietnamese port and comes as trade between the two has rocketed. In the third quarter alone trade expanded by 19% on a year earlier, reaching an annual total of $22 billion in combined imports and exports between the three provinces and Vietnam.
