Yang Ming’s Chairman, Bronson Ysieh, has flagged concerns about the potential for the tariff battle between the U.S. and China to have a negative impact on shipping volumes. Mr Ysieh doesn’t see it as a long-term problem though due to the effect on consumer price inflation and resulting political pressure.
