Boeing has decided not to appeal the U.S. ITC decision to disallow tariffs against exports of the C-Series jet from Canada by Bombardier. The bigger challenge in trade policy for Boeing will be potential retaliation by China against the recently announced section 301 tariffs on Chinese exports. America will apply duties against some or all of the $1 billion of imports from China, yet China in turn bought $16 billion of U.S. aerospace exports in the 12 months to January 31.
