Adidas reported second quarter revenues that climbed 14% on a year earlier, and were better than expected by analysts. Growth of 28% in China-region sales was underpinned by a 49% rise in imports in the three months to May 31 by its local subsidiary, Panjiva data shows. Imports of apparel led the gains with a 112% jump. North America sales climbed 26%, with imports having expanded 16% in the quarter to May.
