The U.S. Congress has commissioned a report into the trade and tariff characteristics of medical supplies as part of the process of tackling COVID-19. A report is due by April 30. This Panjiva research report looks at products that might be included including their recent trade performance. Considering 16 products identified by a Federal Reserve analysis across PPE, diagnostics and treatment equipment shows the U.S. imported $30.8 billion worth of supplies in 2019.
