President Moon Jae-in has indicated that a summit meeting with Chairman Kim Jong Un is due “soon” while a meeting between Chairman Kim and President Donald Trump is also “near at hand”. While U.S.-DPRK relations are important from a geopolitical perspective, China is more important economically in directing the Kim regime’s behavior.
