Hapag-Lloyd has flagged continued congestion challenges at a wide range of U.S. seaports with extensive vessel queues waiting to unload at Los Angeles / Long Beach, Oakland and Savannah. That partly reflects increased demand for shipping services as well as situations where “terminals are working with limited labor and split shifts” due to COVID-19 related issues.
