Divergent European Export Sentiment Can’t Hide Brexit Worries

The direction of European business sentiment towards international trade diverged in November. German businesses’ export order expectations improved to a net positive 12.2% but remains well below the year-to-date average of 15.5%. Meanwhile sentiment in France fell to a net negative 10%, the worst since November 2016.
