EnOil shipper Frontline Ltd. reported 1Q results that included a 12% stronger rate for very large crude carriers (VLCC) and 3% growth for mid-range vessels. While management statements were upbeat, particularly in the context of rising oil prices, the apparent fall in rates for 2Q16 suggest the sector is far from out of the woods.
