With Sony’s PlayStation VR going on sale, the September U.S. trade data read for videogames is not good. Seaborne imports were 6% lower in September than a year earlier, after the value of imports fell 19% in August according to Panjiva data. PlayStation-related shipments were 11% down, although this may reflect shipping smaller boxes as well as gamers waiting for the Pro due in November.
