Low-Melt Polyester Fiber Prices Firm as Trade Petition Brought

The U.S. ITC has received a petition from Nan Ya to investigate exports of low-melt polyester staple fiber from South Korea and Taiwan. That follows hot on the heels of the start of a fine-denier polyester fiber investigation that started this week. The case may target suppliers including Far Eastern New Century and Taeyang Industrial. Domestic industry has certainly lost out.
