The U.S. has restarted an anti-dumping review of Mexican tomato exports after a suspension agreement in place since 1996 was not renewed. The case is significant as tomatoes accounted for 10.6% of Mexican agricultural exports to the U.S. by volume in the 12 months to Mar. 31, while agricultural anti-dumping rules have been a contentious part of U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement talks.
