The meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump brought a commitment to a “comprehensive review” of trade relations between India and the U.S., but not a detailed development plan in the style of U.S. deals with China and Japan. There were also calls for “creative ways” to increase bilateral trade. Announcements were focussed on private deals in aerospace, military supplies and LNG.
