Fuji Heavy does not plan to increase Subaru car production short term to meet increased U.S. demand, the Wall Street Journal reports. Panjiva analysis of company financial data shows that its global exports increased 5% in September on a year earlier, but fell 5% on a quarterly basis. This was driven by a 23% drop in U.S. imports. Instead, the company is relying more on localized production.
