Cons. Discr. - Autos 1186 Coronavirus 511 Japan 605 U.S. 5325

Japan’s auto exports fell 3% in July on a year earlier, after two months of growth, according to company financial reports. Toyota and Mazda were mostly to blame, with Honda outperforming. Exports to the U.S. fell 19%, Panjiva data shows, with August showing a similar pattern. Typhoon Lionrock may exacerbate this trend.
