U.S. government attempts to cut prescription drug prices have resulted in three new guidelines though the “massive drops in price” expected by President Trump have yet to appear. The underlying raw materials are getting cheaper with the average import value per gram (AIVG) for all drug classes having fallen by 20% in April and over the past 12 months on a year earlier.
