Wilmington has Will to Grow

Corp - Ports 884 Mode - Containerized 1475 Mode - Seaborne 1806

The Port of Wilmington, DE, will acquire a former chemicals site that will add 37% to its land area. No details on the scale of expansion or timing have yet been released. The port was the 15th largest by container imports in the U.S., Panjiva data shows, having grown slightly less than the national average in the past three months on a year earlier. It is also one of only two major U.S. ports where the big three Japanese shippers, who are merging, do not own assets.
