President Donald Trump has said he is “favorably disposed” to allowing Argentine lemon imports to resume after a meeting with President Mauricio Macri. That followed the suspension of a decision to allow imports that was made in January. The U.S. runs a $3.7 billion trade surplus with Argentina, which may explain the favorable treatment. Panjiva data shows Mexican exporters have the most to lose. They accounted for 92% of shipments to the U.S. in the past year having expanded by 5%.
