Taiwan’s exports jumped 12% on a year earlier in November, the fastest rate since January 2013 and well ahead of 9% expected by economists. A 39% growth in semiconductor exports was the major driver, while consumer electronics slowed to a 6% rise. When combined with an increase in import expectations by Chinese managers this would suggest a recovery in China’s PC exports from the 12% contraction experienced in October.
