EnHyundai Merchant Marine’s new Asia-to-U.S. service makes permanent its previous cover for Hanjin Shipping’s problems, though with five vessels rather than thirteen. Panjiva data shows it delivered its highest shipments on the route involved in September since October 2013, taking a 9% market share overall. Maersk’s routes did not grow as much, though it is early days as the route was only introduced mid-month.
