The U.K. government may be able to start the so-called Article-50 process for leaving the EU as soon as March 14. Negotiations for a post-Brexit trade deal do not have a fixed timetable, and the U.K. will probably leave the EU after two years, unless the other states unanimously agree to an extension. So far U.K. trade has increased with 78% of the other EU member states in the 12 months to January 31, while total exports increased 21% on a year earlier in January.
