Port Everglades Snaps Up 2M Traffic From Miami

The 2M Alliance has shifted the Florida call on its Europe-to-U.S. TA1/NEUATL1 service to Port Everglades from Miami. The routing had been unchanged since 2015, and is served by vessels averaging 4,600 TEUs. Panjiva data shows Port Everglades had already been outperforming Miami, with inbound TEUs having grown by 13% on an annualized basis to July 31. Miami saw a 2% reduction over the same period. Port Everglades handled 52,300 TEUs and Miami 44,300 TEUs in the month of July.
