South Korea Has Little Bearing On U.S. Auto Components as Trade Case Rolls On

The U.S. ITC has determined that alleged dumping of tapered roller bearings by South Korean manufacturers has harmed U.S. industry. A preliminary decision on duties for the product – used in the automotive industry – is not due until December 5. Panjiva data shows the impact may be minimal even if high tariffs are applied.
